Harry Charsley joins Oldham

How bad were the contracts that HJ was offering out? Retaining 1 out of 4 players offered contracts is poor.

Charsley is breaking new ground. Instead of moving to another L2 club, like the others, he is dropping into non-league rather than play for County. He may have personal reasons apart from football ones for doing this.

Perhaps he got what he wanted?

All his previous clubs before County was in the Midlands/North. He only joined us because of Cocko.

Apparently his Wirrel home is only 26 miles from Oldham? Don't think HJ could do anything about geographical locations.

I agree. I suspect it has more to do with geography than wages...
