Still no signings!!!

Anyone got any news of signings taking place?

Thought HJ mentioned in his update that some were agreed but had to wait until the 14th June to announced?

Anyone know when pre-season training starts? I recall last season GC saying that he wanted most of the squad signed before the start of training so I guess that is a bit of a deadline by which the silence should be broken.

But we are going to play in the Welsh League Cup, albeit in the Northern section.

Should imagine preseason would start nx month. A few rumours going around that GC will not be here ! Anyone truth in this

July 1st training

Makes sense. A week or so later than last year in line with the season starting a week later.

We announced our 1st deal last year on the 19th June and the next on 21st + 23rd. I am eager to know who we have got but as long they are at preseason I am happy to wait.

Does explain why none of the signings have been announced though, wait for the new manager announcement and then announce "his" signings

Or maybe just wait til you've sacked the manager and then announce a bunch of players WITHOUT telling us who the Head Coach is...

Well, I for one am definitely not assuming that, and doubt if everyone else is. Some possibly.

Whomever the Head Coach will end up being, there will be negotiations where terms and conditions are discussed and these will be weighed up by the potential candidate(s) before any agreement is met.  If the candidate(s) have other offers this could be elongated.

Ideally the Head Coach will be in place for pre-season friendlies, but as long as he's aware of the pre-season training schedule and has someone he trusts to assess players performances, then it slightly less important.

But yes, sooner rather than later to quell supporters worries...

Orrrrrr... he might appoint the guy that was already there, in a very odd set of circumstances. Terrible PR move, irrespective of how the new Head Coach actually does. Made him look like he wasn't choice for absolutely no reason.
