Yes, I don’t disagree with that, it’s just the way the thread went talking about financing football clubs. If they do well it’s because they’ve got extremely wealthy backers, if they leave the club could possibly go tits up, as it stands we should be more concerned with Newport County.

Re: Transfer Rumours Ins and Out
49I was thinking exactly the same when I saw that Plymouth were releasing him. Only 23, decent return of goals (just over 1 in 3 for Plymouth, almost 1 in 5 for Swindon). I wonder whether he's lost a bit of confidence. I guess his Agents demands will be too high...Amberexile wrote: May 10th, 2023, 3:45 pm https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/65545710

Re: Transfer Rumours Ins and Out
50I think he couldn't really step up to the challenge of League One. A bit of a hit and miss player but maybe worth an offer.
Re: Transfer Rumours Ins and Out
51I see Regan Poole has been released. Would be worth a shot if Norman or Priestley move on.
Re: Transfer Rumours Ins and Out
52Regan Poole wasn't released, he rejected a new offer as he wants to try and get a club at a higher level.

Not a chance. He wasn’t released, he was offered a new deal that he turned down, rumours of him signing for a Championship club.
Re: Transfer Rumours Ins and Out
54Yeah he’s definitely moving up, he was their player of the season I believe.
Re: Transfer Rumours Ins and Out
55The question is how long has Graham given the player's to make up their mind, would have thought only a couple of weeks.
Re: Transfer Rumours Ins and Out
56I think he's not allowed to do that. Contracts run to the end of June and, from previous seasons messaging, I think those offered a deal must decide and respond a couple of weeks before that deadline.

57This seasons contracts run until the end of June, I can't see what that has to do with what time limit is put on nexts seasons offersexcessbee wrote: May 14th, 2023, 10:49 am I think he's not allowed to do that. Re: Transfer Rumours Ins and Out
58If he really wanted to play hard ball he could say he’s withdrawing the offer by a set date. Nothing to stop the club withdrawing an offer before it’s accepted but it’s the players that tend to hold most of the cards.

59Online rumours that Flynn planning a raid of Walsall and Newport County past and present with targets of Norman, Mickey D and Brandon Cooper who’s been on loan at FGR
Re: Transfer Rumours Ins and Out
60That rumour seems to have materialised from the Swindon advertiser Mike
