I doubt that he is coming to us but PL clubs often like their young players to start at a low level of football. He has never played a FL game and Man U may not want him to start in the Championship. We've had several such players at County and one, Ben White, went on to play for England.
Brighton handled Ben White's career progression perfectly.
Loaned to a league 2 team (County) player of the season
Next season loaned to a League 1 team (Peterborough)
Following season loan to a championship team (Leeds) player of the season.
Then breaking into Brighton's premiership team, before a £50m transfer to Arsenal.

Let’s say a Salford official just happened to pop on and see that statement and tells their manager who says “ Bloody hell,I didn’t realise he was available, can we get hold of his agent “.His agent then rings said player and asks “ Where are you “ ,the player says “Just south of Birmingham “ ,agent says “ Turn around and come back,we have got a better deal “.

It may sound ludicrous to you but not to me.

Percy I agree entirely. The picture you paint sounds totally ludicrous to me. I'm sure you have a different opinion.

This is brilliant news, I hope the loan works out for the player and us, and well done to the board, DoF and anyone else for making this happen.

In terms of the assurances the player sought before choosing us, hopefully we agreed to play him in a particular position where our game plan for beating an opposition team warrants that, plus a loose guarantee that he’ll get a consistent run of games in the side barring any injury or loss of firm.

He's hardly 'leaving at the age of eleven!! Presumably they had dozens of eleven year old whose parents thought they had hit the jackpot and 50% of them were disappointed at the end of the year.
Quite so. Although 99% is probably more accurate.
