Re: The right to strike

I'm not saying I agree (or otherwise) with the proposed law but the unions, particularly some of the transport unions, have overplayed their hand here I'm afraid and brought this upon themselves and the rest of the UK workforce. Very easy to blame the 'Tories' (of which I'm not a supporter) but these selfish and ill timed strikes (strikes are by definition selfish and deliberately ill timed I suppose) have seen the unions hoisted by their own petards. There is a point where 'don't ask don't get' becomes 'that's yer lot you cheeky bugger - you'll get no more'.

The only way to make rich people work harder is to tax them less.
The only way to make poor people work harder is to pay them less.

There was a time when land owners and land lords like myself could legally beat working class people like you lot for whining and getting uppity. No doubt if the Tories win the next election those happy days will come again and I might even return.

Know your place workers.
