Re: Sgorio
2Thanks Percy… went to the game and watched Twamley get 90 minutes… he likes to pick the ball up in a no10 position and drive forward.. quick feet and very creative… looks a good prospect for the future and this loan can be of great benefit to him and Newport
Re: Sgorio
3If he’s showing promise we’ll probably get rid of him like the others ( ie Jeffries and Livermore )
Re: Sgorio
4Arguably Pontypridd's best player but he's still very lightweight. A Hillier came on as a late sub, was that the one who was with us?
Re: Sgorio
5This Hillier is ex Swansea City, so probably not.
Pontypridd were second best to Flint Town. They are new to the WPL and I hope they raise their game for the benefit of our players.

Re: Sgorio
6I thought Twamley showed glimpses of what he can do but,he was played too deep so didn’t get forward as much as he did with the academy.I was surprised how passive Pontypridd were, especially late on when they needed more players in the opposition box.The commentator suggested moving Lewys further on and that would have helped. They played with two holding midfielders who were happy to just move the ball sideways and back.Woodiwiss should replace one of them as he brings more than the two steady Eddies they had. They have signed 16 players in the summer so not sure how many promoted players are still there and, they signed a targetman but he is injured so,they won’t score many with this formation. The Hillier isn’t the one who played for us,not sure where Ryan is.He went to Cardiff MU but didn’t get game time at the end of last season.
