Half time here at the Showgrounds, Sligo leading 1-0. Neither here nor there. However before every game a team photo is taken with the mascot just before kickoff. I have only just noticed this. I don't know if we this but if not it does seem a great boost for the mascots at no cost to the club.

When I was a lad I attended a game when on holiday in Dublin. Watching football in Eire was very civilised, my mother being catholic we went to church first then most people went to the pub and on to the football, it was Shamrock Rovers v St Patrick’s and with my little newly- acquired brownie camera I ran onto the pitch just as the teams were breaking up from the team photo, they posed again for me, as I say all very civilised. Would that be the same St Pats you’re watching Stan?
