Surprised to hear we have been using one. Especially as the teams mental fragility has been patently obvious to me for our recent home games.

Was told by our chairman himself, if I understand correctly, they have only come on board in the last few months.

Hopefully they will be throw overboard for next season.

If this information about club psychologists is correct, it would appear that the problem is one of the players mindset. It hasn’t worked. A problem all of the clubs making as well. How bloody sad. I wonder if the club will persevere with this scheme next season or ditch it? I know which I would prefer.

Possibly .But not always for the better.

There’s an old recurring joke in medicine that psychiatrists are often madder than their patients. I wonder whether psychologists need their fair share of counselling too? I would have thought a few bonding trips would have been more helpful!
