34County looking comfortable with 1 nil lead. But second half may produce some fireworks. Long way to go.

36Lack of process and all the better for it imho, far too vulnerable at the back though. Lack of speed there is getting us into trouble

38Agree with that. Looking more positive by getting the ball forward quicker. More positive attitude than I was expecting. To be ultra-critical should be further ahead, because I feel Colchester's pace from midfield look's like it will inevitably expose our lack of pace at the back.lowandhard wrote: November 26th, 2021, 8:37 pm Lack of process and all the better for it imho, far too vulnerable at the back though. 40Sub for home side Jasper off. Judge on.
Re: GRANDSTAND: Colchester United (Away) Match Day thread
41Colchester having good spell. Patiently playing the ball around looking for a way through County defence.
Re: GRANDSTAND: Colchester United (Away) Match Day thread
42Pressure on County now relentless. Mc Coulsky on.
Re: GRANDSTAND: Colchester United (Away) Match Day thread
44Equaliser by player running on to forward pass. Day coming out and left hopeless.
Re: GRANDSTAND: Colchester United (Away) Match Day thread
45Surely Townsend has to get a chance now? We saw last season that having two good 'keepers vying for a place spurred each of them on. I like Joe Day, but he's struggling and needs to be given space to get his head straight without the pressure of playing when his form's clearly gone.
