There are 4 boards at Test grounds, one is for batsmen who score 50 or over in an innings, two England players achieved this.Their names will be sign written on to that board and will stay there forever so,hardly embarrassing.Using 76 and his football logic,England won at Headingley and that was great so,they can’t be expected to win every game and make no errors as Percy expects.England won’t be relegated down with Holland so what’s all the fuss about.

Was that not the case? Or just the usual mental frailties on show?
It's not the first time Woakes has said England has a good chance of winning, followed by an England collapse/

For Christs sake, give it a rest Percy! You have to be THE most boring poster on this message board. A typical thinks he knows it all but actually knows very little type of ar$ehole.

Some mates who had tickets were so upset by this news they sought solace in a nearby pub by 9:30.

smell a rat here

This is what Aggers on BBC website said

This is quite bizarre because last night the players all passed their PCR tests. We went to bed thinking the match would go ahead.

I suspect the IPL would have a lot to do with this. It starts in 10 days' time. The players are on huge contacts. The IPL is worth £300m to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

They are desperate to protect their product and the players protect their contracts. This stands to cost the ECB £20m, one assumes there would be some negotiations about that with the BCCI.

It is a shame Covid has interfered with a brilliant series.

From memory there are honours boards in home and away changing rooms at Lord's. So four boards in total. For scores of 100 and above and 5 wicket hauls. Wasn't aware that the other test grounds in UK did something similar?

Maybe we should have a board at Rodney Parade to commemorate the scorers when we score three goals or more in a match
Mind you, I fancy it would be a part time job for the signwriter
