That's a very good bit of transfer window business from MF and well done to the Board for backing him.
2 strikers in plus an attacking midfielder all with good pedigree bodes well. Strength in depth now allowing a sneaky push for the play-off.
We've got strong keepers and centre-half for this level, plus options in defence. Plenty of midfielders when they're all fit, and now pace and options up front. I'm a big Wilmott fan but worry that his game time will now be limited and we may have seen the last of him in an amber shirt.
If I was a betting man I'd stick a few quid on us reaching the play-off because I think this Div2 is wide open (anyone can beat anyone). Don't really care about the FA Cup because realistically we're not going to progress much further.
Hope the lad from Villa gets some game time and makes a real impact.
We'll done Flynny, his staff and the Board for your hard work. On paper things are looking very rosy.
Re: Have to say.....
2I agree with the sentiment about a very good window. All look good.
I think the fact that we didn't get a right back( seems it fell through) would now suggest that Robbie will play as a right wing back.

Lets just hope that he uses them.

6... yep. You can be sure that relative to the others, there'll be at least one who'll be rarely seen starting. My guess is Neufville.penycwm county wrote:Loyalfoot wrote:At least MF has a few options now with the new lads coming in.
