Re: Welcome Adebayo
4Played well against us for Wimbledon IIRC....took some stick off the Bisley Stand. Or is there another player called Azeez in a blue shirt? (Chesterfield??)

Yes. I know it was a few years back but I remember he tore us apart, and scored, when he came on as sub for Torquay against us.
Career seems to have stalled a bit but he's still only 25.
Re: Welcome Adebayo
6according to BBC its the Cambridge player, seems they have brought in two players on loan from Villa and Boro

9Can't recall seeing him play but we desperately need a pacy forward and us still quite young so hopefully he can do a job for us

10Yep. Lets be positive. What was Semenyo's return? And we are all sorry to lose him. It depends on how Flynn wants Azeez to play.penycwm county wrote:2 in 20 appearances for Cambridgewattsville_boy wrote:213 games 24 goals. Hardly prolific.
Re: Welcome Adebayo
11Agreed, he has pace which is something we have very little of. I was underwhelmed with the Matt signing and he has been brilliant.
Lets see what he can do.

Re: Welcome Adebayo
13Personally I'm happy with this signing, has added some much needed pace to our forward line.
Re: Welcome Adebayo
14Was he deemed not good enough for Cambridge or do they need the money (what ever that money might be)
Re: Welcome Adebayo
15I am merely providing statistics in one facet of his play, but one on which strikers are usually judged on. Of course I'm not writing him off before seeing him play but as a frequent criticism from Flynn has been profligacy in front of goal it seems peculiar to sign someone that suggests same. His primary attribute seems to be pace and that alone is usually enough to unsettle opposition defenders and can lead to space for others to score.IMB wrote:Yep. Lets be positive.
