2149I would wager a tidy sum on both McKirdy and Truss being moved on by Christmas.

Re: News regarding ex County players
2154Kevin Stephens (Rhino) aka Stevo the madman. Been watching E4's Cooking School and "Stevo" mentions being a former athlete - After a quick wiki search I find out he is Kevin Stephens who played under Holdsworth and refused to play for us again after County fans racially abused Bath City player Douglas. Didn't he pee on the side of the pitch during a game?
Re: News regarding ex County players
2155I went to Witham Town last Saturday to watch Ware fc play who has Rene Howe in their team, he's 36 now and still a good target man.
Met him before the game and he was very complimentary about County and still watches out for their results. Top man.

That racism accusation was an absolute load of bollox
Re: News regarding ex County players
2157I've only ever heard of two "peeing on the sidelines" cases, one was on TV recently and the other was about five years ago and wasn't Stephens.
Re: News regarding ex County players
2158Didn't Stuart Douglas play for us after his spell with Bath City? I remember him scoring three? against us at Spytty Park and being roundly applauded by our fans when he left the pitch.
Re: News regarding ex County players
2159Yes he did. Concerning the Stephens incident, Douglas said he was unaware of any racial abuse directed at him. Stephens' allegations were reported by Michael Pearlman, who is Jewish, and no doubt feels deeply about these matters, in the Argus. Eventually, a steward who witnessed Stephen's after match behaviour which was very odd to say the least, reported what he had seen and it was clear that no fault could be laid at the door of County supporters. Unfortunately, Deano had chosen to believe his player rather than the fans.
Re: News regarding ex County players
2160Didn't he become a physio and in this role appear 'against us' for at least one team - or the same team on a couple of occasions?excessbee wrote: September 30th, 2022, 12:02 pm Didn't Stuart Douglas play for us after his spell with Bath City?
