1912 Exiles Podcast #128: End of season review!

1

Another season is over, and there is plenty upon which to reflect. Rhys is in the chair for our epic end-of-season review, and is joined by Ian and Ed as they analyse Newport County's 2022/23 season in depth. We revisit the decision to sack James Rowberry and where things went wrong for him, and track the evolution of 'Cockball' under his successor Graham Coughlan. We also consider which of County's out-of-contract players might still be with us come August.

We muse on kits, including this late 70s / early 80s effort, and ponder designing our own over the summer. We then settle a few scores in an end-of-season "shoutouts and beefs" extravaganza...

We'll stay in touch over the summer with a few special episodes (keep an eye on our Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn or info) as well as checking in about new signings as they emerge. But until then, thank you so much for your support this season, and enjoy the summer break!

Good Afternoon
Thanks for all the episodes this season, it’s good to get ( generally) a sensible perspective on things!
Highlight for me was definitely Ian’s Barrow visit. An unexpected bit of personal insight, which made it so much more interesting than the regular “ this is where we went and this happened “ kinda stuff.
There must be so many stories behind our fans’ football passion, and so many more deserving of a mention to a wider audience.
Make that the mission for next season! Try to talk to more fans at the matches and get their personal stories.

See you next season!
