Re: Grandstand = Bradford City v Newport County (Away)
62Hope JR can turn things around in the league pretty damn quickly.
Re: Grandstand = Bradford City v Newport County (Away)
63ain’t that the truth! And a big 3 home games coming. If we lose all of those? Badly need a win to build some morale.
Re: Grandstand = Bradford City v Newport County (Away)
64Thankfully Grimsby saved blushes, not that JR will be any different in his post match interview.
Re: Grandstand = Bradford City v Newport County (Away)
65Unless the ref doesn't deem it a dangerous tackle but just a professional foul, when it would be 1 match
Re: Grandstand = Bradford City v Newport County (Away)
66Yes no doubt he will still be talking about the collective and pseudo management spiel.flat4 wrote: August 13th, 2022, 5:02 pmThankfully Grimsby saved blushes, not that JR will be any different in his post match interview.
Won’t be fooling me.
Re: Grandstand = Bradford City v Newport County (Away)
671 match ban plus 2 for being useless until we realise any replacements we have are np better.

Newport County's Declan Drysdale is shown a red card for a last-man challenge on Andy Cook
Re: Grandstand = Bradford City v Newport County (Away)
69Denying a goal scoring opportunity is a one match ban but if it also involved "Serious Foul Play" it would be increased to 3
Re: Grandstand = Bradford City v Newport County (Away)
71Whether it was a foul, dangerous or not,the fact is we shoot ourselves in the foot by playing in the wrong areas.Drysdale gave the ref a decision to make when there was no need. The ball should have been played down the line and not to Drysdale,as it was played to him he should get rid.It gets me that these CB’s all think they are Beckenbauer or Bobby Moore when they should play like Jack Charlton.
Re: Grandstand = Bradford City v Newport County (Away)
72My main concern about yesterday was not that we lost the match, but we lost to a team that were, quite frankly, very poor. However, the flip side of that is, that Bradford, like Walsall were a team fancied to do well, and didn't really look much better than us, in Walsall's case, actually worse than us.
Re: Grandstand = Bradford City v Newport County (Away)
73Yes, defending was poor but Townsend has got to do better with their second - little pace in the shot. Seems to struggle with low shots.Taunton Iron Cider wrote: August 13th, 2022, 4:20 pmNot really true, the problem was Dolan standing off the Bradford striker and allowing him to get a shot in from close range.
Re: Grandstand = Bradford City v Newport County (Away)
74Cardiff didn't, just watched JR`s post match interview, in this case a video paints a thousand hours, he looked like a man with the world on his shoulders, a coach he may be, but a manager he is definitely not, he needs experience at his side, while he learns the trade, the one thing that stood out the most, there was no mention of the collective, we now have 3 home games on the bounce (2 league 1 cup). GF you instigated the demise of MF and brought in JR, are you prepared to say you may have been wrong.
