48Just hope he is better on the park than his stat`s suggest, time is running out with ref to signing a #10
Re: Anymore coming in?
49It would appear the hoped for no 10 signing fell through.flat4 wrote: August 12th, 2022, 10:30 am Just hope he is better on the park than his stat`s suggest, time is running out with ref to signing a #10
Re: Anymore coming in?
50It states in the Argus that two targets lined up from Premier clubs, have both sustained long term injuries.
Re: Anymore coming in?
51We have great luck don’t we? Still, it’s better to develop our own than sign somebody for the sake of it.

54Is it possible yet another player chooses not to be part of the collective, the list is growing....neilcork68 wrote: August 13th, 2022, 7:41 am Rumours that Swindon are signing Cain from Liverpool....

55A lot of winding up around Swindon.neilcork68 wrote: August 13th, 2022, 7:41 am Rumours that Swindon are signing Cain from Liverpool....
They're in Court on 22 September, 12 days after we visit.
Re: Anymore coming in?
56Not too bothered about Cain joining Swindon if true, thought he was no more than OK for us. Not sure if the list of 'not wanting to be part of the collective' is growing. Despite our profile being raised by the cup exploits and play off reaching under Flynn, we are still a very long way IMO from being viewed by potential players as 'big club' in league 2 terms or an attractive proposition.flat4 wrote: August 13th, 2022, 9:49 amIs it possible yet another player chooses not to be part of the collective, the list is growing....neilcork68 wrote: August 13th, 2022, 7:41 am Rumours that Swindon are signing Cain from Liverpool....

Or is it more likely just a case of a Flynn signing that the current manager had no interest in bringing back?Is it possible yet another player chooses not to be part of the collective, the list is growing....
Re: Anymore coming in?
58Its about time BONY repaid the club for the favours we have done for him by letting him train with the first team squad and signed a short term deal until January...We all know he will then bugger off to the Middle or Far East on a 6 month contract for a club no one has heard for on silly money.
Come next July it will be a repeat as he will want to train with us again until his agent can line up the next club who will offer him a deal

Re: Anymore coming in?
59People who were at the open training session, which Bony pretty much sat out, except for a bit of finishing drills, told me that he appeared absolutely nowhere near match fit.neilcork68 wrote: August 18th, 2022, 1:59 pm Its about time BONY repaid the club for the favours we have done for him by letting him train with the first team squad and signed a short term deal until January...We all know he will then bugger off to the Middle or Far East on a 6 month contract for a club no one has heard for on silly money.
