O'brien.......4
MF..........5.....wrong system picked and bad selection (FFS take off your blinkers towards certain players)
Those are the marks I would give the team tonight
Not marking anyone but totally agree but would never give anybody 3 or worse 2.
They were both out of it but against class.
Padraig never stopped running the problem was he was miles off the pace.
Its not his fault but he is one of our slower players.
Again a bit mean with your sub numbers as they had little time to turn things around.
Why Flynny kept Frank close to the touchline is anybodys uess.
I digress please put opinions on the game on my other thread if you can unless you are voting with a comment which is great of course.
Re: MOM Wembley
19I thought Sissoko had a good game. He broke up most of their attacks Joking aside, Joe Day kept the score respectable so it's him closely followed by Labadie.
Re: MOM Wembley
20Dan Butler for me. Handled classy, pacey premier league forwards pretty well and very unlucky with the own goal. Impressive performances from Joe Day and the rest of the back line too.
Re: MOM Wembley
21That's a worse decision than the normal home sponsors choice but we digress.mad norm wrote:Agree......never interested at allAdo wrote:How an earth did the Argus give Nouble their "Star Man" ???? Worst player in our side by a country mile. His lack of effort made me cross in the end.
Re: MOM Wembley
22Think everyone played well, apart from Robbie and Frank who didn't really seem to care and I can't remember Robbie making a pass, the back 4 where superb and mom for me has to be Day made a couple of fantastic saves.
Re: MOM Wembley
23Yes, I thought Bennett.
When all’s said and done Day was asked to make regulation saves which, fair play to him, he did with aplomb. But the pressure was on the outfield players last night so MOM must be one of those.
Agreed on Nouble and Wilmott. Perhaps Wilmott simply didn’t understand what he was instructed to do last night. Goodness knows what Nouble’s match Instructions were. I hope to god it wasn’t what he ended up doing.

Re: MOM Wembley
24Amond worked his bollox off last night. Labadie and Bennett also. I am not his greatest fan but Joe Day was superb also. As for Frank I thought he was okay, nothing special but he didn't hide.
Because had he not been on form it would have been 6-0 I'd give it to Day.

Re: MOM Wembley
25Day MoM
Both Nouble and Wilmott had stinkers and I'm staggered they both played 90 minutes if I'm honest.
Everyone else put in a shift and gave their all which is all we can ask as fans really.

Re: MOM Wembley
27My 1st County match since Cambridge at home under Feeney. So proud of the team last night & would have loved it if Podge had scored at the end. Day MOM for me with special mentions to Pipey & Butler. Noubs was always available & never hid, but always slowed down the move. Robbie was awful. Pulled out of a tackle for their 2nd goal & looked scared whenever he got the ball. Always looked to pass inside or back & it never seemed to cross his mind to play the ball forward or take Rose on.
Re: MOM Wembley
28Joe Day for me. 26 shots against... some excellent saves and couldn't do much about the goals.
Honorable mention for Amond busting a gut all match too.

Re: MOM Wembley
29Joe Day for me Labs was very good and Amond worked his socks off agree with most others Noubs was poor and if Robbie had backed off any more he would have had to paid to get back in, didn't put a tackle in all night.
