1912 Exiles #186: Newsround / CitC walking football
Fri Jul 12, 2024 2:08 pm
Part One sees Jamie & Ian catch up on all the latest Newport County news. They critique the new kit, recent signings, forthcoming friendlies, the Football League TV deal and the thorny issue of ground naming rights.
The in Part Two (from about 25mins in), Ed reports on a session of walking football with the ever-brilliant County in the Community. Thanks to Reg, Joe, Tony, Howard, Deb and Norm for chatting to us. Please do support CitC and promote what they do via Twitter and Facebook if you can - they're a real asset to our club and our city.
We'll be back soon, hopefully with an emergency pod about County's new Head Coach - but in the meantime, you can get in touch via Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn. Thanks to Tinty & The Bucket Hats for letting us use Discoland as our theme.

By the way, help from this board would be appreciated. Last year we featured Newport City (men's) and Newport City Women as our local 'team in focus', checking in with them a few times during the season and shining a light on local grassroots. This year we'll be featuring Chepstow Town men - but they don't have a women's side. If anyone on here is involved with a women's team in the Newport / Gwent area who'd like to feature on the pod, drop us a line.
