Grandstand: Fleetwood Town (H), 26 October

Below is some opposition intel about tomorrow's opponents.
13th vs 14th in the league, so on paper should be a tight game. Both sides have scored a similar number of goals (us 18, them 17) but they have a might tighter defence (13 conceded, compared to our 24), so one suspects it'll be all about what defensive personnel we have available. After a clean sheet on Tuesday night, we have reason to be a little optimistic, so I think we might sneak it. What are others predicting?

County seem to have mini-streaks, so having broken a losing run by winning, it makes sense to favour another win tomorrow. But who knows this season, County are consistently inconsistent...

If today's game was an audition for places in the FA Cup team for next week, then few passed the audition. Thought much of today's game was bang average at best...

Yet again this game turned for the worse on Jardim’s substitutions.

Well I’m pleased with the result even if a bit disappointed we failed to convert the penalty to give ourselves the chance of a win. Fleetwood are a decent side as they proved late on after our secure formation was ruined by taking Hudlin and Cameron Evans off. As soon as Glennon returned to lb we looked likely to lose that game. It’s a shame that denied us a strong finish. That starting XI is our strongest defensive formation at this time.

It wasn't such much that Glennon made the defence weaker, but when deployed as a winger earlier in the match he seemed to spend more time infield than out on his wing. Hudlin is doing his best but today had poor service and little support. It looked like County were playing for the point from quite early in the game...
