It's Ian in the chair for this one, joined by Ed and Ollie to discuss consecutive heavy defeats to Port Vale and Swindon Town. Our trio strive for a balanced and constructive perspective, identifying the shortcomings and diagnosing possible solutions but without wallowing too much in the gloom. A final except from the latest episode for you. I'm really pleased with the latest episode, it felt cathartic to try and work out how things might be firmed up after two really dreadful defeats - and it looks from last night's match as though the coaching staff share at least some of those ideas and are putting them into practice. Saturday's still going to be tough, as will Crewe the weekend after, and we may need to reconcile ourselves to not getting a league win in September. But as I argue in the clip below, this sort of blip was always going to happen at some point and we've all got to stick together as the team get through it.
