Losing 4-1 and this is why I said we needed another centre back.

Pipey may need to dust his boosts off for next game at this rate.
Looks like this will be an early test for how our squad can cope with an injury/suspension crisis.

Well, at 1-2 down at halftime we should have been able to get back into it. Then we gifted them a third goal, so pretty much game over. What was inexcusable were the two moments of terrible self discipline that have stitched us up for the next three matches.

Second yellow, which mean't the red. Not sure whether kicking a ball into the crowd warrants a yellow, it seemed that the reaction of the Port Vale players led to the second yellow. But some referees might have given a red for his using his hand to try to keep out a goal-bound shot (which he failed to do) so he was treading a tightrope anyway...

I don't think it warranted a straight red, probably a yellow, but in trying to extract his leg from a Port Vale player instead of moving his leg away, he moved his leg towards the player which I guess was construed as a kick by the fourth official.
Port Vale played the referee better. I'm surprised their number 5 didn't get sent off in the first half for persistent fouling.
It really wasn't a game that warranted two red cards. But the County players that were sent off were foolish...

Surely two yellows isn't a three game ban...

OK. Thought it was a straight red. Is kicking the ball at opposition fans construed as violent conduct? It was petulant and foolish. The Port Vale players certainly seemed to try and make the referee treat it more seriously than it was. As far as I am aware nobody needed medical attention.

Definitely two yellows. My impression from the other side of the pitch was that it was a ball that had gone into the crowd shortly before, retained by their fans and thrown onto the pitch to make it a second ball. Jameson kicked it far too hard and probably shouldn't have aimed at the Vale fans (perhaps knocked it behind the goal). The Vale players reaction probably got him the second yellow, but it wasn't the most intelligent thing to do when you're already on a yellow...
