I hear that Granny Smith has passed. One of the heroes of my youth. A skilled hard working winger. Who never forgot that pro football is about entertainment. Often he would act the clown, doing somersaults to entertain the crowd. But he was also a serious footballer and was County's leading scorer with 9 goals in the relegation season of 1961-62.
