Because Justin Edinburgh was manager? Don't forget he also picked Lee Evans regularly before he was sold.

This isn't a pop at Flynny by the way, perhaps the academy just isn't producing good enough players at the moment, but if that's the case that opens up another set of questions.

Was that when Flynn was running the youth team or did that come later?

Wandering up to my local ground this afternoon to watch Frome Town v Chippenham pre-season friendly.

As well as Foulston Chippenham have a few former County players in their set-up. Andy Sandell has left but Curtis McDonald, Keiran Parselle, Nat Jarvis and Yan Klukowski appear to be there along with James Bitner as goalkeeper coach.

Foulston and Parselle start for Chippenham.

Solid left wing-back performance from Jay. Played the full 90 minutes and he put in a couple of good crosses. Keiran Parselle scored Chippenham's goal in a 1-1 draw and Yan Klukowski came on for the second half. Nat Jarvis also in the Chippenham line-up.

I liked Parselle,he didn't get much of a chance with our managers except Butcher.I thought he had something but,he's stayed at that level since leaving us so what do I know.
