We could conceivably only drop to 7th

Here we go then
Only County can play superb imperious football for 45 minutes, dominate a half and then be a totally clueless bunch of players for the second half.
We were unlucky not to go in at least 4 up after 45 minutes.
Totally lost midfield after the break but by luck hung on for 3 cracking points.
Thank goodness Crawley were poor.
As we were all watching 2 separate games this evening.

Ref certainly didn't like McClousky.
What a cracking crowd also.

First points 1st Half Second the obvious other half.

Joe 6 - 4 Awful mistake + distribution dreadful
Pipey 8 - 9 Pipey at his best
Ben 7 - 7 Steady never let us down
Micky 8 - 7 Couldn't dominate like we know he can
Bennet 7 - 7 Too slow
Dan 8 - 8 Touch and go with Pipey for MOM
Tozer 8 - 6 Superb first half but not so good after
Sheehan 7 - 5 Understandably tired out after the break
Robbie 7 - 5 Hit post but went missing second half
Frank 6 - 5 Nice touches first half needs a rest
Amond 8 - 5 Cracking header second half looked knackered like Frank

Subs Nothing much to report no idea where the lad from Swansea was playing though.

Take the 3 points gladly. First half v good, shocking in the second. Hope Sheehan is just rusty but the game passed him by. Obviously did well to win the penalty but other than that his touch was awful and too lightweight. I’m liking Hayes tho - a real awkward bugger for defences.
Badly missed Labs and Dolan but Flynny got away with it plus Frank still ok for Spurs.
Up to 5th woop woop.

We have to go below one of Coventry or Swindon but can't go below both, so best case scenario we're 6th, worst case we'll be 9th.

Doesn't really sound like Day's fault, not that the official live twitter is likely to be assigning any blame.
The Facebook feed now says it was Bennett trying to clear it, FWIW.
Day was 100% to blame for the goal, Mickey then tried to clear it off the line but it looked over to me & I was right in line with it.

Definitely over the line.

Is that because Coventry are home to Swindon or because Swindon are away to Coventry? ;)
