Yes. About time. Well done Regan!
Re: News regarding ex County players
2522Mullin of Wrexham is on the standby list even though he has only played 5 games in League 2 this year after 2 seasons playing NON LEAGUE.
Bandwagon jumping ?
He was born in that little Welsh city of Liverpool and only qualifies through his grandmother. Never played 1second for Wales at any level previously .
If he was with us and had a similar record do you think Page would include him ?
Poole and Sheehan were stand out performers in League 2 whilst playing for us....did they ever get called up ? Add Lee Evans to that list as well.

2523Still no place for Andrew Hughes.neilcork68 wrote: October 4th, 2023, 2:15 pm

2524After approx five years with Connah's Quay Nomads, defender Danny Holmes has been appointed manager of Vauxhall Motors FC.
Re: News regarding ex County players
2528too technical for us Bowen gets two (that's 5 or 6 to date) for Wealdstone, poor decision to loan out, should have looked to his development in our team not theirs.
Re: News regarding ex County players
2529Shame that those two didn't play for us at the same time.neilcork68 wrote: October 24th, 2023, 10:15 pm Telford and Foley scored for Barrow tonight at Veggie FC

2530I take the opposite view. Regular games for Wealdstone, which he almost certainly wouldn't have got with us, seems to have done his personal develop the world of good. If deemed necessary, he could be recalled in January as a better player.ajs wrote: October 25th, 2023, 7:39 am too technical for us Bowen gets two (that's 5 or 6 to date) for Wealdstone, poor decision to loan out, should have looked to his development in our team not theirs.

2531You are right GC wouldn't have played him he's a footballer with good vision, he's not Irish and carrying injuries. Sooner GC is relieved the betterOLDCROMWELLIAN wrote: October 25th, 2023, 9:56 amI take the opposite view. Re: News regarding ex County players
2533He was useless for us in every game he played and clearly poor in training at league level - funny how players become world beaters in some fans eyes when they leave and survive at lower levels.ajs wrote: October 25th, 2023, 7:39 am too technical for us Bowen gets two (that's 5 or 6 to date) for Wealdstone, poor decision to loan out, should have looked to his development in our team not theirs.
Midfield is not an issue once Charsley fit who exactly would he come in for, even with Charsley injured Morris, Bennett, McLaughlin, Wildig and Wood all ahead of him.
He would not get a game with us so better for all that he finds his level.

Wealdstone would probably beat us as would many sides in that division, have a look at some games you will see a difference to league two

Maybe but look at his signings, a 2 year for a plyer who seldom play last season. a pleyer sign that has missed 25% of the season through injury, a player that was on loan to Eastleigh and never got a game (30mins), I good go on. GC is not an experienced manager, he failed at Mansfield and was a co manager at Sheffield Uniteds under 23s.
His signings are poor, sorry but thats my view, reminds a bit of the Bobby Evans era when he favoured Scottish players.
