Re: News regarding ex County players
1112Yes,played LB in the promotion season but was really a midfielder or CB.I recall him filling in for Todd and Warren when they were injured and,he played so well that they had to wait to get their place back.I think CB is where he has mostly played for Sutton.Kevinmoorefellover wrote:Jamie Collins is due to retire from playing in January. Great player for us in our Conference days.

1114Big Frank scores another good one for Colchester yesterday
Would love him up front wide for us now.
Would love him up front wide for us now.

Only his 4th goal in 32 games so far this season though. In fact it was only his first goal in his last 17 games.
Quite a few of our fans wouldn’t put up with that judging by the stick our current forwards are getting for :-
Amond 10 in 28,
Matt 3 in 24
and
Abrahams 9 in 32

If I want cheering up I can just look at the 3 against Chesterfield.
Plays out wide for them as he did with us.
Cannot be 34 games this season though?
Do you mean in 2019?
Just like watching the fella but what a waste of talent

No, I mean it is 32 games this season, not 2019.
24 league, 5 EFL Cup, 1 FA Cup & 2 FL Trophy.
He’s not a winger though and he drifts out wide, yes he scores some great goals but he’s not a great goalscorer.
He certainly does divide fans, yes he can look great at times but that’s because he only seems to turn up every so often.
Just saying the amount of crap he’d get with that return especially as Amond gets crap on here despite being played almost as a midfielder on occasions yet has still returned 10 goals in 28 games.

1125What did we see in Tom as he was so out of his depth in the odd very few cameos for us.reebok0165 wrote:Defender Ismail Yakubu has extended his loan spell from Hayes and Yeading Utd at Merthyr until the end of the season.

Cwmbran Celtic how down the pyramid would that be if Welsh sides counted.
