S4C showing live coverage tomorrow of Cardiff v Swansea in the Welsh Women’s Premier League; the first time they’ll have carried a live league women’s match. As well as those two big-hitters, the league also has women’s teams from the likes of UWIC (or whatever they’re called this week), Aberystwyth Town, Port Talbot Town &c &c.

As you say, we’re missing a trick to not make sure there’s a Newport side in their that is part of our setup.

Agree there is doubt at the moment whether L1 and L2 football will survive - sorry but women’s football needs to look after itself without any funds from the club.

Let’s also remember that a lot of these teams are semi pro and heavily subsidised.
