Part time striker coach too. He's started his coaching badges, so perhaps he'll transfer to DP to continue them (if he's not already doing his badges there).

Perhaps being over 40 he doesn't count towards squad capacity

At this rate Frank could get a game.

Won't knock this signing and he'll get my full support, he's obviously still fit and knows where the goal is, plus will be able to help the younger strikers.

But this is probably one of the stranger signings I know of. Veteran striker based up north all his career turns up in South Wales. Fair play to him for his longevity and obvious passion for the game.

He can't do any worse than Jackson or Myrie-Williams. He'll be a big asset in the dressing room and hopefully improve our forwards with his coaching.

I'm actually alright with this. It's risky, but given how many no marks who've been through the revolving doors at least this guy has a bit of pedigree.

I'm quietly surprised he wasn't offered two years.

Is he qualified as a coach - No
Energy & charisma do not make a footballer.
No idea what Covid 19 world has to do with Ellison.
But apart from those points everything else you said was spot on.
