2So if section 8.5 of the minutes is correct, it means that the Trust has "proceeded to a full licence", so that a manager would be appointed, is that correct?..... What does having a "full licence" mean? What extra things does it allow us to do, that we couldn't do with just an "event licence"?
Sounds encouraging.

3At the moment we are on what's called a Ten.newgroundrodney wrote:So if section 8.5 of the minutes is correct, it means that the Trust has "proceeded to a full licence", so that a manager would be appointed, is that correct?..... Temporary event notice. We will be looking at a full licence which means we can open at normal pub opening hours rather than just single events. This will need a management roll.

4Thanks Ryan. This sounds a good way forward. You'll know when it's best to open in order to make most money. Nothing worse than an empty pub open all day with no drinkers, but if you can balance the costs against the takings, hopefully matchdays themselves will be when the real money is made.Cromwellend2 wrote:At the moment we are on what's called a Ten.newgroundrodney wrote:So if section 8.5 of the minutes is correct, it means that the Trust has "proceeded to a full licence", so that a manager would be appointed, is that correct?..... Tell me, is there any help we can give as fans? Is there anything the venture needs that the fans can help provide?
Re: Bar Amber @ Ivy Bush management required
5Yes there's so much to do. Our focus has been to get it up and running which is done and a great success. Our intention is to invite, once we have a full licence, say on a Tuesday evening to invite all fans to the pub and explain where we are with the project and then hear what the fans can offer and what they would like to do.
This is a fan owned pub, run for the fans by the fans.

Re: Bar Amber @ Ivy Bush management required
10What matches are on TV tonight?... Are the plans going ahead to sell cans / bottles from a separate area to help with getting served? The first time I went in it looked impossible to get served, but obviously that was only the first day so understandable.
