Moshen was sent to a young offender institution for two years and four months and was told he must serve at least half that sentence before being released on licence.

I guess it depends if he grassed someone up who is a bigger player than he is. Based on that sentence I'd say it looks likely.

Of course not he deserves what he got..more imo.
But do you think enough is being done or as usual lack of resources?
Plus a lot of police time is devoted to footy control

Nowhere near enough is being done, which is why (I feel) more severe sentences need to be issued, I mean, he has probably earned a decent amount of money from dealing, when he is released in about 10 months he is going straight back to dealing, where else can he get that type of money.

About time we legalise and regulate it all tbh. People are going to use regardless of whether it's illegal or not. At least being able to get it legally and safely it takes the money off the streets. Would take a brave forward-thinking government to even hint at the idea though.

I agree. You can't stop people taking drugs, gambling or paying for sex. To try to do so merely causes crime.

You don't have to approve the behaviour, simply understand that it is better licensed than being controlled by organized crime.

Will gutless politicians ever face this reality? I very much doubt it. Will victims of drugs and women who work in the sex industry continue to die unnecessarily die as a result? In my view, yes.

I'm sure many in Parliament would be able to source a supply from somewhere.

Canada has started on this route, buying from authorised retailers gets rid of the parasitic dealers who prompt and promote the stuff
