Both on here and on County Chat there is a lot of criticism of Rodney Parade, accept the pitch is crap but surely that can be sorted. I think that it is without doubt the best stadium we have played at in terms of location and facilities.
Loved Somerton Park but no facilities or opportunities for revenue from hospitality etc. Spitty a council running track with a field in the middle - remember the postponements from poor drainage, the pitch is built on a slag base - had parking as long as the crowd was below 1,200, would it cope with L2 crowds?
So, we are in my opinion lucky to be at Rodney Parade - city centre location with facilities and contribute what we can to get the pitch sorted.

Apart of course from the pitch R P is okay. Spytty is a non league ground only. Ideally though we need 20 million or more for our own home.
