Millwall fans live in London. Contributors to this MB don’t. They have probably seen with their own eyes the vandalism & defacing of statues, the near riots earlier this year, army veterans & bikers having to defend Cenotaphs, all because of BLM. They also probably saw, like most people, Anthony Joshua telling people not to frequent white owned businesses. Millwall have history, everyone knows that, but not all their fans are racists. They are just probably having trouble wondering why their team is taking the knee because of a clearly unlawful death of a career criminal, thousands of miles away in another continent. I know I am.

There were calls on social media calling for help to defend the cenotaph in Clarence Place from a BLM March which was proceeding from the Civic Centre to Belle Vue Park . Either BLM have no sense of direction or the scare post put up to guard the war memorials is utter nonsense and probably racist to boot. Perhaps the right wingers ought to realise that British Troops included all races and the contribution of those soldiers should be remembered too. Why would BLM want to damage a war memorial?
