Re: Man of the Match Walsall home
It would be easier to pick the awful performances tonight !! I'm going to need time to think about this one.
Re: Man of the Match Walsall home
Sheehan played well and got better as the game went on. Willmott did well too. Townsend ok but didn't have much to do.
Amond and Proctor both poor. Dolan had an uncharacteristic stinker first half. The rest all a bit meh.

Sheehan for me.

Only 2 in the equation.
Josh & Robbie.
Going for Robbie
Josh & Robbie.
Going for Robbie
Re: Man of the Match Walsall home
I gave it to Sheehan though probably nobody covered themselves in glory. I’m not sure if I’d ever vote for a player that had less than 20 minutes on the pitch unless they made a really big contribution to the result, a couple of crosses ( decent though they were ) isn’t enough to cut it for me.
Re: Man of the Match Walsall home
Can understand Willmott comments he did make a difference but not on long enough- Sheehan was busy with better distribution than Saturday so he gets it for me although he needs to hurt opponents more with his skills.

Exactly my feeling.
It's like having a Porsche but only ever driving to Tesco.

Sheehan for me followed closely by Robbie who was quality for the second game when he came on.

I say old chap, what a fine analogy... Any croquet lawns near Newport by the way?

Re: Man of the Match Walsall home
I've gone for Josh Sheehan, particularly for his second half performance.
A very frustrating performance overall.
