Sorry if it's old news but friend in work told me their whole season has been cancelled, sad for them but great for the pitch

It would appear so. How bloody annoying is that, considering the available artificial pitches they are used to playing on in their own region. Although the Dragons seem happy to accept the Blues money?

p.s. can't find any official news that the Welsh Rugby premiership has been cancelled. Last I heard they were hoping to resume by the end of November.

Not sure about season cancelled but club training stopped in lockdown areas including Newport.

Someone's friend in work says versus wait for an official announcement,I'd be inclined to wait.

Best as I can see. Newport rfc not expected to start playing again until Jan 2021. At least the Blues Chairman wants to return to the Arms Park ASAP, depending on the repair to their pitch apparantly?
