Stupid comment.
You sound bitter Harps - have you been sucking lemons?
Far from it. Chuffed to beans with this great start albeit like I said stupid comment as I see no mention of all the dross we got from Elite as well.
Abrahams has scored a few so that's brilliant but reading reports he is not really starring compared to quite a few in the side.
Early days but very happy if he is in the right place at the right time.
Stick a fiver in JDRF for me.
Daughter back home after 3 weeks in RGH so a very very happy chappy tonight far from bitter
and sinking a nice bottle of Malbec
Cheers

The same one we signed a contract with that gave us Lasar who only lasted a month did we have to pay him off. Marvel and Whitely who we paid for two years to play for someone else are you seriously suggesting signing a contract with them was a good deal.
Jesus Christ you really scrape the barrel trying to justify the boards **** ups.
Next you will be saying the shirt crowd funder didn't divert money to make it look a success.
We have had a brilliant start to the season and we are all delighted and you think that excuses the mistakes it doesn't.
C'mon tell us lack of communication with the fans really help the team, if so we will win the league by Christmas and some fans might actually believe it

Thanks for that EiE. Been waiting to see it on the efl show on Sky but they are concentrating on the Championship at the moment. Keep them coming please.

I know that highlights sometimes don’t show the real game but Bolton did look good there contrary to some of the reports I read yesterday. Quite threatening actually.

Haynes looked good, great going forward.

Now, if we could just get rid of this bloody COVID, his season looks really, really promising. Early days yet but, like others, chuffed to bits so far. Cmon the County.

It is odd how these people with their agendas fail to mention some other elite clients.
Joe Day , Dan Butler, Andrew Hughes ,Conor Washington, Aaron Collins, Lee Evans , Regan Poole , Padraig Amond , Mark Byrne, Danny McNamara and Alex Gilbey.

That is actually a very good team and does not include Dale Gordon , Lewis Collins or Tristan Abrahams, but let’s concentrate on the couple that have not come off .

You do realise that many of the players you list came through the youth ranks don't you and didn't sign up to the Agency until the clubs offered them a pro deal ??

A Hughes , A Collins , L Evans , R Poole and L Collins were at the club before joining Elite Management as far as I am aware.Wasnt it about the time when MF was involved in the youth set up...Did any of them consider another Agency or did they sign because of his recommendation ? Was he on commission for every one that joined them ???

J Day , A Gilbey , D Gordon and D McNamara were short term loans from other clubs trying to lighten their wage bills or send a youth team player out for experience.
Amond and Byrne were looking for a club when Hartlepool and Barnet were relegated as they wanted to stay in the league . we offered them two year deals which were probably the best deals they were offered at the time
Washington was a punt on a parks player by J E that worked.

Not really a sound argument when you look into how good the deal we had with Elite

Corky 10/10 for that summation.
Anyway Mr Bryant/Gavin or who ever you are how about answering Pembs question to you which has been bouncing back to you for a season and a half now.
"These people with their agendas"
Got a description to suit you but best left to myself eh.
Pathetic will do for the time being though.

Your just not getting it are you we paid Elite for all those players you listed so expect to get a return on our investment. Last years recruitment was a disaster and with wages cost us a lot of money with no return on that investment. You try to justify that by turning into Uncle Albert its ok because during the campaign of 2012 we signed Gilbey During the campaign of 2013 we got Byrne etc it does not justify what we got for our cash last year.
Answer this honestly were last years recruits signed on recommendation or were they actually scouted

Let's get back on topic eh?

I thought we played some great football. Twine and Shephard have settled in well. Dolan looks good in defence. Labadie is back to his best. Abrahams is thriving off some great ball and poaching off spills.

It was a weak Bolton side who never really looked in it, we could have scored more but in the end the three points is in the bag - well done!
