With all these players on the market, I suspect many will have to ply their trade in lower leagues.

For me the worrying thing is that Championship and League 1 sides will also be releasing players, and the same will apply. However for them the lower Leagues will include League 2.

If and when that happens are County in a position to go into that market? Or were the incomes of Cup runs and transfers squandered?

Interview with George Williams about not getting a new contract for Forest Green, the likeliness of having to move out of his house, the struggle to find a new club, being paid lower wages etc.

Considering we're not a million miles away from FGR, I'd love to think that, if there's any silver lining, we could offer him a contract at some point. I know he's struggled with injury, but I still remember him tearing us apart at home the season before last.

He will probably end up playing in The National League for a team like Eastleigh whose budget is far bigger than ours on twice the wage we could offer him
