It really is dire. I know we haven’t scored for ages but we hardly ever “create” a goal - it’s just clueless hoofing the ball long and just hoping the ball will fall to somebody. Can’t remember the last time I saw us cut a team open to score.

Abrahams was woeful today, no surprise he was pulled off at HT, only thing in his defence is that he isn't a midfield player. Unfortunately, his replacement looked like what he is, a boy playing against men, coupled with Green being muscled out of the game and another poor performance from Amond we never looked like scoring.

No Gorman or Waters midweek so unless we have players recovering Dolan had a big night ahead.

Can you work out how many actual minutes it is since we scored, including all the injury time as well.

Sadly, if we get beaten by Salford, I fear our following will diminish in large numbers

If we play like we did today Salford will smash a few past us easily

If Sheehan is still unfit get the youngster back, at least that is his position.

At the moment that is of more concern than our league position. The league season is over imo. However, we do need all the support and money that we can get.

When you look at that staff it shows that Michael Flynn has gone well over the course of his tenure. But it’s about the here and now.

I truly believe that Mike has heavily benefitted from very lucky loan signings. Ben White, Regan Pool, Semenyo have all contributed to a lot of the success. They have taken us from a lower league 2 team to a high mid table team but this year we haven’t had the same quality of loans.

We certainly in a downward spiral and despite following the county for 46 years I can’t remember being this disappointed at the quality of the play.

But is Dolan match fit? If so surely he would have started ahead of Abrahams in midfield.
Khan is trophy tied.
Waters was our best forward today which isn't saying a lot.
Flynn didn't use the word kids to describe players

Abraham can't pass,head or tackle so he gets picked wide in midfield.He played there,either home to Salford or Oldham and was pathetic then so,why would he be any different today.

County had only five on the bench today. Khan (ineligible today), Gorman and Waters are ineligible against Salford, leaving only fourteen of those at Mansfield today available.

Salford had only six on the bench at Stevenage. At least two of their seventeen players available today will be ineligible for the semi.
