If Amond were the fall guy I would wonder that too. But he isn't. The consensus seems to be that whilst Podge has not hit the heights of last season, he is still well worth his place.

For me, and this is only an educated guess on my part, is that Flynn may be using him as a sub because Podge has a long term nagging injury.

Podge is a class act. Always gives 100% and that in fairness is all any of us can ask of any player.

Have to agree. Assuming weatherwise I'm six hours ahead of you nine o'clock this morning the rain was biblical in its intensity.

Although I think football wise it makes no difference, our league season being over, I hope for the sake of those travelling they get a full 90 minutes.
