Hadn't realised Wales Under 19s were playing Poland at RP this afternoon with free entry to the ground and a free live video stream on the FAW's facebook page.
Wales won 3-0
Was this publicised beforehand in and around Newport?
Pitch looking good
Re: Wales Under 19s
2Apparently Wales Under 19s are playing Kosovo at RP next Tuesday at 1.00pm again with free entry.
Re: Wales Under 19s
3Nice clean sheet for former County academy player and Newport boy Lewis Webb, now at Swansea City
Re: Wales Under 19s
4For all the fuss about the number of games played on that pitch, our landlords don’t half like to rent it out for extra use. Do they need the cash?

Whilst echoing this sentiment, I wouldn't of thought there was much cash to be made from hosting such matches. If the Dragons/WRU are in such need of cash it would add weight to the argument that they cannot afford not to extend County's tenancy.
However, the condition of the pitch is of concern to me. The standard of pitch required for rugby games is obviously not as great as that for professional football, therefore will not be as big a consideration to the Dragons. If I'm counting correctly, by the time the County's match with Grimsby is over there would of been 5 games played on the pitch in a week; during a very wet period, when temperatures are so low as grass growth will be at a minimum/non-existent. Surely. the pitch will start to show signs of deterioration after that, and with such a long time left in the season. Well done to the groundstaff for maintaining it to a decent standard to date.

Re: Wales Under 19s
11Information for this is awful. Looked on line for Wales u19 fixtures it definitely says Kosovo v Wales. But on the same page it says Rodney Parade 1pm. Too late now, I've just got off the train and straight on a bus out of Newport.
Re: Wales Under 19s
12u 19s v Kosovo from RP live on FAW Facebook stream. Now.

Re: Wales Under 19s
13Apparently although it's being played at RP it is technically an away fixture, so under some silly euefa ruling Wales have to play in their white away kit and not their home red kit!!
Re: Wales Under 19s
152-0 to Wales. Enjoyed that match. Apparently there were about 700 school kids there.
Jason Bowen's lad looks a useful player.
