A dreadful first half followed by a superb substitution at half time gave us a great second half.
Abrahams has to be our number 1 striker now ahead of our 2 regulars.
Scott was immense and so cool.
Thought Whiteley did well few mistakes but never stopped.
Good Ref.
Happy with a point in the end albeit we were all over them at the end apart from King having a crazy couple of seconds of madness.
thought Robbie was immense in defending today also.
Thoroughly enjoyed the last 49 minutes.
No idea why McNamarra didn't start.

King 6 Scary at the end.
Robbie 7 Defended superbly
Howkins 6 Steady
OB 6 Likewise
Scott 8 Who cares if he is slow when he can control the back line that well
Haynes 7 Faultless
Josh 7 Seen him play better
Whiteley 7 Very promising.
Matt 6 Missed a few today looks crocked again.
Padraig 5 Not at the races with Jamille injured will keep his place though
Labs 6 Not at his best

Abrahams 8 Made all the difference.
Matty 6 Okay

Happy with a point against top of the league side.

Really enjoyed that. We were certainly the better side. Exeter should be pleased to get away with that one. Let's not forget they were (still are) unbeaten and top of the table. Can't think why Matt Taylor seemed to be complaining to the ref at the end. The foul count of 10/17 says it all. They took Law off before he got himself sent off. A very solid team performance. It would be churlish to criticise anyone today.

Percy plunkett wrote:They tended to dive around when we made a tackle, the ref gave a few but quite rightly ignored a few including at the end on the edge of our box.He maybe could have booked one or two for simulation.Bennett playing in his best position with 3 CB's but Macnamara unlucky to have to make way.
Did you go to Northampton? Macnamara or Bennett?? No contest.

Overriding feeling after the game of disappointment of not getting the 3 points, I thought we deserved. Stating the obvious, but we have drawn too many games to date to be challenging for a automatic promotion spot. However with 36 games still to go, anything is yet possible.
Was Amond injured today or was it a tactical substitution? If tactical, it was a very brave decision by the management team or manager which payed dividends.
