After today is done and dusted I hope that MF and the team start concentrating on our league position .
We are now only 15 points above Notts County ( who are bottom of the table ) after their win at home to Mansfield...Who will Flitcroft blame for that defeat ?
I dont believe we will get sucked into a relegation battle but 15 points aint much if our poor league form continues ( 2 wins in 10 )

Whatever the result today, it'll likely take too much out of us for Tuesday and a rapidly improving Notts County under Aspin to expect anything more than maybe a point.

The parallels are there between this year and last. Our squad is just too small and the peripheral players not quite at the same level (and underprepared in terms of game time) as the first 15 or 16 on the team list.

In truth, I'd not expect more than 6 or 7 points from the next 6 to 8 league matches, but that should be sufficient to get clear of relegation, with a late-season revival in form.

We haven’t got a small squad , we’ve got quite a big squad , the problem we have is that the fringe players are not good enough to get us firing on a league and cup run.

If we get 12/15 points on board as soon as we can we'll be looking at the playoffs. That'll do me.

So that, play-offs aren't out of the question. 16 cup finals left, let's finish the season on a high whilst we still have the manager and players in place.
