Re: Round 2
92I feel like a spy up here but Leyton Orient and Ricketts are the main concerns at present.
Re: Round 2
93I had to resurrect this thread as I am so chuffed about our 3-1 win tonight and can't wait for saturday. Great that the midfield is ticking over.
Re: Round 2
95Quiz: Who scored our consolation goal when we lost 1-6 the last time we played Wrexham in a cup match at The Racecourse?
Re: Round 2
97Can’t believe we’ve only sold around 400 tickets. I thought we’d easily take 900-1000
Re: Round 2
983pm ko and we might have done but the problem of getting home from Town at about 1-2am has put loads of us off.
Re: Round 2
99That's about what I would expect with no train back and the match on TV.Exile 1976 wrote:Can’t believe we’ve only sold around 400 tickets. I thought we’d easily take 900-1000
I assume you're one of the 400.
Re: Round 2
100They all think they're going to win up here despite not scoring in the last 2 games. At the same time they are concerned about their lack of sharp strikers.

Whereas Matt and Amond have scored 21 between them so far. Goals win games.
Re: Round 2
102One of my best memories of ROUND 2 matches was in December 1978 on a Monday night in the fog aat Worcester. They were expecting to beat us after drawing at Somerton Park. We ground out a 2-1 win after extra time and went on to beat West Ham in the third round.I could be wrong and won't compete with New Ground Rodney but I think we have fared better in ROUND 2 than Round 1 (this could be mathematically impossible). Anyhow I'm sticking with 2-2 and a win in the replay.
Re: Round 2
103Dare I raise the possibility of the Wrexham pitch not being playable today. Lots of rain during the last few days and more to come today?
Re: Round 2
