Ar the neon tomorrow night and we are advertising it via social media are we real? We have a pub next door! Do our directors and staff talk with each ofher do the staff know we have a pub? Who checks what goes out on social media we have an ex editor on the board? Yes we keep making errors of course if indeed it is an error as we may have had agreement to do this which if in fact we have it beggars belief and shows that as a club we have no business sense! Ryan as Pub director would be interested in your take on this

To maximize our income we need a CEO who knows what he or she is doing.

I have always made the point, too nuanced for many on this board, that whilst I favour fans owning the club, the administration of the club needs to be done by paid professionals.

At the top needs to be someone accountable. The directors direct, the CEO administers and the fans own. That was what I have always supported.

The Trust are never going to capture ALL of the alcohol money on a match day. At any given home game, both Bar Amber & The Marquee are very busy. Certainly Bar Amber wouldn't cope with ALL the demand. Indeed, it could be argued that Bar Amber should have been established in a much larger premises had such been available.
Oktoberfest sounds like something that might be way too big for Bar Amber, although the Marquee may have coped more easily.
Bar Amber is a great facility that we've wanted for ages. Whatever net profit it returns in a year is more than we would have had.

The Neon is a entertainment venue so shouldn't be seen as competition.Tickets are being sold for Octoberfest with live music so won't impact on the Ivy.As others have said, the Neon has helped us with a temp ticket office and open meeting venue and we will need them for future meetings. It is encouraging that we and the Neon are working together and building a relationship.
