I can actually see this happening now because of the winter break. Most of the PL teams will have a week in the sun of warm weather training so if they did that in the US it would be pretty easy to have a long weekend of matches for all teams in the US. For me it would be to use the previous season's standings 1v2, 3v4 etc. 10 games spread all over the US and not too much impact on the clubs or players if it's tied in to the end of the winter break. Can see it happening in a few years - and of course if they do it this way I'll be expecting a contribution as it was my idea
