I think Joe has arguably been our player of the season so far. I can only think of the Carlisle game , possibly Barnet where his mistakes have actually cost us points.

I have lost count of the amount of points he has saved us .

Perhaps we should re-think our views of the Refs, they are part-time
in the main, the EFL must find a way to professionalize their job,
players are full time, refs should be too, after all no ref no game.

Connolly had his arm in the air all night - at times in the first half it seemed as if it was connected electronically to the lino's flag.

The ref did well on the penalty. the tackle was that late that Sheehan has already got his shot away and half the crowd missed it, but it was a terrible tackle - purely because it was so late and in from the side.

The kind of tackle that is a yellow card anywhere else on the pitch but more often than not isn't given as a penalty when inside the box.

The only question for me was if the ball was already off the pitch when the contact arrived.
