Should we rest players for the Morecambe game with us playing 3 home games in a week, so the 1st X1 are fresh for the Spurs game, or are league games more important than the FA Cup?

League is the priority and our bread and butter . People on about resting players. Not a chance . Keep picking up points is my view .

Me too the FA Cup is great but we are in with a shout promotion/play offs

Injuries happen it's the nature of the game we have to play or best eleven

We should rest any players struggling for the spurs game not the Morecambe came. Although manager will have a job on his hand telling those players they cant play.

We have a few players made of glass in this squad. no way they can play all 3 home games in a week.

We needs Nouble for the Spurs game so I would perhaps manage his game time slightly over these games. He's currently 1 yellow away from a 2 match ban so needs to be very careful in these next 2.

I would rather lose 10-0 to Spurs than 1-0 to Morecambe. Spurs is all about the dough.

I'm torn between the two. Obviously the league is more important in the long run. However, a match against a top Premier side may only come along once every twenty or thirty years or more. It would take the gloss off the occasion if we can't field a strong side because of injuries or suspensions, and if the side tires badly in the last 20 minutes.

I was really hooked on the County back in 1964 after beating Sheffield Wednesday 3-2. Who knows how many new regular supporters may be generated by a good performance against Tottenham.

Frank is one booking from a suspension.If he is booked tonight,he will miss Morecambe,if not then he gets booked on Tuesday,he will miss Spurs.MF may consider that,but no resting of players.It gives the wrong signal like Morecambe doesn't matter.

It's nice that we're in a position to be on about resting players shows you how far we've come but no way should we rest players . Keep doing what we're doing . Take each game as it comes but pick the best side you can and move on to the next game . Utc

Firstly the Morecambe game is more important especially if we win tonight But..............

It could work in Flynny's favour by resting the odd one or two for the Morecambe game because if you're coming into the team for that game you will give everything to make sure the Manager picks you for the Spurs game.

You ask any player whether they want a rest and you'll get a resounding NO . This is because if players come in like Sheehan,Collins,tozer etc and they play out of their skin the players rested my not get back in and they know that is how football is . So play the side that's doing the job for us now and if injuries,suspensions happen then we have more than enough quality to come in now and do a job .

Hopefully we start like a house on fire tonight, get the game won and then we can give the likes of Reid and Sheehan a run out.

We have 5 games in the next 15 days. "natural wastage" should take care of any squad rotation.
