Re: MOM Tranmere
3Joe Day had a mare against Yeovil but dusted himself down and his save at the death earned us 3 points instead of 1.
Re: MOM Tranmere
4Franks for me, but only just ahead of Joe Day. Semenyo also put in a tremendous shift.
Re: MOM Tranmere
7I appreciate he’s not a County player but I thought Tranmere’s Steve McNulty looked like a really competent centre half.
Re: MOM Tranmere
8Interesting to hear Semenyo played well today from those that went. Very promising. I'll admit I was surprised to see Harris dropped but he's still young and will learn.

9Is that 'The Beast' that used to play for Luton? He's got to be 104 by now surely!Kevinmoorefellover wrote:I appreciate he’s not a County player but I thought Tranmere’s Steve McNulty looked like a really competent centre half.
Re: MOM Tranmere
10It is. He looks like he’s getting on a bit but he was impressive.Caerleon Exile wrote:Is that 'The Beast' that used to play for Luton? 11I said to those around me that he looked older than me (im 65) but he did have an excellent game.
Re: MOM Tranmere
12McNulty was outstanding. All afternoon he passed the ball whenever he could, never resorted to booting it into the stands and didn't get caught for pace because he just read the game so well.

Re: MOM Tranmere
14Wasn't at the game today . Like Corky .... work and family commitments !!!
Give MOM to Joe Day .
200th game , and a fantastic contribution to our last few seasons .
Clean sheet as well today

Re: MOM Tranmere
15I thought Joe showed the best and worst sides to his game yesterday. His shot stopping was superb but his distribution was inconsistent and command of his area occasionally uncertain. That said, he took balls in the air well in the last 10 minutes.
