Re: Guard of honour
17'If' they get a point maybe a 'Congratulations Champions from Newport County AFC' on the big board?
Re: Guard of honour
20Can’t think of anything I detest more .... I congratulate them on their achievements but I hate the bloody thing.
Re: Guard of honour
22If they were champions clearly yes. But they are not. If they win the championship this evening they should be applauded off.
Re: Exiles v Accrington Stanley
24I know county have lost against bottom sides and played really sh÷t in them games, then next game county play a top of table team and its like a diff county team all together cos they seem to play with a bit of passion against top sides, but i just cant see county playing well tonight and really think we will get a bit of an hiding against accy, after seeing accy score 4 away to a top side like wycombe on sat and should of scored a few more from what i saw of that match, they dont let many goals against them either and will just eat up all county,s long hit and hope high balls for poor 5:9 armond to win in the air, somthing as to change with county,s way of playing or just like the barnet match and many other matches recently we never even look like scoring a goal,
Re: Exiles v Accrington Stanley
27With the rain sheeting it down and all of the above reasons , tonight will be sub-2000 imho .
I'd say 1,700 - 1,800 tops
I'd say 1,700 - 1,800 tops
Re: Exiles v Accrington Stanley
29The nearest to it for league matches within these latest three season is 2032 v Barnet on a Tuesday evening during 2015/16 which County lost 3-0.Amberexile wrote:When did we last have sub 2,000 for a home efl game?
Re: Exiles v Accrington Stanley
30What about the 7000 fans who went to Wembley, surely a bit of rain,Liverpool on the box and nothing to play for won't put them off.
